You already know inclusion matters—and you care deeply about not causing harm.

You’re passionate about allyship and inclusion, and wanting to be vocal about your values in your work. You’re committed to showing up for LGBTQIA+ communities in your work, your marketing, and your relationships.

And yet you may also feel…

  • unsure when harm is happening, or how to interrupt it.

  • afraid of saying the wrong thing or being called out.

  • isolated in your questions, or unsure what to even ask.

  • hesitant to speak up or have hard conversations.

This is normal. And it’s not a reason to stop.

A person sitting on a wooden floor holding a laptop with a skateboard nearby. The skateboard has a black grip tape with the word 'GLUE' and the phrase 'PRETTY ON THE INSIDE' written on it. The person is wearing dark jeans and sneakers, with tattoos visible on their arms.

I created this training to help you build the skills and self-trust to embody your values.

I believe ignorance is human—not shameful. What matters is what you do when you realize you don’t know.

For 7+ years, I’ve been facilitating LGBTQIA+ inclusion & equity work—supporting people to grow, practice, and build new muscles to challenge harmful norms with integrity.

We need more genuine allies and accomplices. The time is now.

Creating Safer Spaces definitely shifted me and expanded my capacity to hold space for others, but more importantly it helped me to be a better human. Tristan has a skillful, no-nonsense and loving presence that I trust implicitly. Integrity is a word that comes to mind.

We’ve learned so much about how to create safer spaces and deeply engage in solidarity work through Tristan’s trans inclusion counsel. They bring the house down with their wisdom, love, earnest drive for change, modeling, and highly skilled facilitation and teaching. Their work is truly transformational.

Janesa Velazquez, social justice-centered yoga teacher

Tristan taught me best practices for ensuring my trans siblings are included in yoga and wellness spaces. They give us room for the messiness, for the inquiry, for the learning and unlearning. Tristan creates honest, heart-centered, supportive and affirming containers full of bravery and compassion.

Tristan provided important learning to take me to the next level for the trans clients I work with in the therapy room and out in the world. I want everyone to attend and I want them to get paid more for their time!

You will leave this learning space confident in…

  • your understanding of current language relating to gender and trans experiences so you can comfortably hold space and call others in.

  • your ability to strengthen your brand and messaging and impact more people without relying on niching by gender.

  • your clarity to easily recognize transphobia and anti-trans bias in the moment it occurs so you can interrupt it with confidence.

  • your expression and ability to vocalize your values in your marketing which will inherently attract like-minded and ideal clients.

  • your space-holding practices so you offer greater care to groups and individuals.
